Raised by a woman who built her own business.
My mother bought and built her own funeral home on her own terms. She taught me business before I was a teenager and bought me my first stock at ten. In high school, I met my close friend Mariyah (@beautybymariyah) right as she was starting her business, and I watched her build it into a thriving nails and lash business. My admiration for her hustle and business acumen is what inspired me to work with women in this industry. Today I co-own The Polished Pit, a service business where I learned what actually brings clients in: local SEO, ads, funnels and real customer service. Now I bring all of it to women building in beauty.
